Amanda Shipley.
I am a wife, a mother and a teacher. I started working in education as a teenager, where I worked in the local synagogue as a teacher’s aide. I was given the opportunity to help teach Hebrew to students in third and fourth grade. Then while in college, working towards my bachelors degree in Elementary Education I taught Sunday school at a community synagogue as well as I spent time teaching in a preschool, where I worked with many different ages. After graduation I spent three years teaching Kindergarten before becoming a preschool administrator. In addition to all of these experiences I have held positions of Assistant in Management, Program Assistant Director and Director in different preschools across the country. While working with children is what I enjoy doing for my career, I also enjoy many other activities as well. As a teacher it is always important to be creative; I express my creativeness through taking pictures of my family and scrapbooking those important moments in our lives. I also enjoy spending time outside, hiking and playing with my children. Overall, I spend my life surrounded by children and enjoy watching them grow and learn through daily experiences.
